TAWNY

Director

It all started as a behavior therapist who encouraged her students and families to attend summer camp. In 2018, Tawny saw a need and felt called to fill it! Not only is Tawny constantly looking for ways to raise the bar each year for our campers, but she also keeps our families as one of her top priorities! Anyone who knows Tawny knows she pours her heart and soul into We Are the World Day Camp.

DELEMMA

Assistant Director/Volunteer Coordinator

Deleema Phillips watched from the sidelines for 3 years then jumped right in as Mrs. Claus for the 2019 Christmas Camp! She instantly fell in love with the energy and mission of We Are the World Day Camp, through that experience. She is excited to get to know our families, students, and volunteers on a deeper level as she grows with WATW.

AMBER

Science Teacher

After an awesome experience volunteering for camp the summer of 2019, Amber Pelletier couldn't wait to come back! In fact, it even lead her to add behavioral therapy to her field of study. She is pursuing nursing along with her certification as a registered behavioral therapist. Amber loves bringing science to camp and getting to spend time with the WATW campers who are the highlight of her summers!

BRANDON

Rec Teacher

Brandon has been member of We Are The World Day Camp since 2016 as a volunteer and staff member. Brandon loves seeing the joy of these children laugh and smile their way through our amazing activities.

KAROLYNE

Music Teacher

New to the crew, Karolyne is a Music Therapy student at WTAMU. She enjoys working with kids and bringing the joy of music and activities to those around her. Karolyne is excited to be apart of this summer at We Are The World Day Camp!

AUDREY

Art Teacher/Photographer

Audrey joined the We Are The World team for summer camp 2019 as the art teacher and photographer. Being able to participate as a teacher and capture the excitement of camp in photos was one of the most rewarding experiences for her. Working with the campers and the WATW team has brought so much joy to her life!
